Loved the service and food was delicious!

Great food, great service, and friendly people. This place is worth it and the wait times are usually pretty short.

Went for my granddaughter's birthday party. It was clean and friendly. The servers were attentive and accommodating. The food was really good, especially the shrimp cocktails. The prices were reasonable, too. There were around 18 adults and 6 children in our group but that didnt faze the servers. They were always on point even for as many as we were. We would definitely go back again and again. Perhaps for the next birthday 😉.

If there were negative stars, believe me, they'd get them all. We came in on a Sunday around 430, it was pretty busy but were told it would only be a 25 minute wait for a party of 2 and that we were welcome to wait at the bar. After the longest hour of my life (child birth included) I had to finally ask a waitress for our bill becuase we were never seated in the dinning area or given menus to eat in the bar area. Sadly, we will not be returing and advise others to have more patience than we did.

Think of the cheesiest Mexican food-based joke you can. Then think of the cheesiest Mexican food you can. Combine the amount of cheese in both of the previous sentences. That is the amount of cheese on both the food and the jokes at this restaurant. It's charming, in its own way.

Fried Red Snapper was delicious and the spiked lemonade mermaid boot was wonderful also. Our waiter Kaylan was nice and walked us around the menu and checked up on us casually (5-6 times) without being overbearing and kept it short and sweet, just how we like it. My fiance really enjoyed her experience and that means alot to me. The cook brought out our food and the bartender brought our drink. Great little environment.

Some of the best Mexican ethnic food. I absolutely love it and recommend it to anyone that want's to eat and good!!!

The food was good and the service was fast and efficient. I'd give 5 stars if the meals had a bit more oomph/flavor. Otherwise, a pleasant dining experience.

The food was delicious. I had the seafood molcajete. It was plenty of food for the price. Almost enough food to share.

We went at lunch time and the parking lot was very very full, but there was no wait inside. We were seated right away. Our server was awesome and very attentive. The food is very good for the price. The restaurant was very comfortable inside. Great place, enjoyed it very much.

The food is good! Out of five visits, I had one bad experience with a waiter, but he was quickly replaced by another who was able to make up for his rude service. What I like the most is the atmosphere!

I don't see what everyone was bragging about. I paid more money for the same food then I do at the Mexican restaurant on Brundage, the food taste better and the service was better.

Always love the fish tacos here. I've never had a company about service. Wait can be over 30 minutes but it's usually dinner time or happy hour. Will definitely come back here. It's become our "usually" place especially if we're craving fish tacos.

I loved the food there it was very good we went for 28 and it only took 30 minutes then our food came in five minutes or less they looked very busy that day people walking in and out if u are going to get dessert I suggest the deep fried ice cream I loved it

Food is awesome, sea food is the best. Everything always taste fresh. If you order anything spicy, just know it's going to be really spicy. Service is good aswell, I've been going to La Costa for awhile now. This place deserves a 5 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This was such a good choice for Mexican food! Loved every bite. Portions were fantastic and so we're the drinks. The server was so nice and very attentive. Overall, would love to come back.

By far the best Mexican food in town, bar none! Two locations, make reservations. Great service and they make your guacamole at your table! Flavored chips! Yum!

Ended up in Bakersfield for a quick work trip and got this as a recommendation. Our server was very helpful and friendly and even had others come by to give us info on the restaurant and decorations. They have a large drink menu ended up choosing the Cucumber Margarita yum! For dinner tried the Fajitas Salad and it was, perfect

Tianee is a really good server. Food was delicious. I love the shrimp cocktail.. Went with the family it was so busy so we sat at the bar for 20 minutes. Tried the mango margaritas. I was impressed. Great atmosphere though they closed at 10. No rush on getting us out. Clean establishment. Will return when I come back to California

One of my favorite places. Exceptional service, especially during the busy lunch time. They know how to get you in and out without sacrificing taste or experience.

Haven't been to many places in the Bakersfield area...but oh my gawd....this place has the quality food...the service...the drinks and the atmosphere to truly pay a second and third visit. I can't wait to come again...the margaritas here are plentiful...and the liquor flows heavy...I've found a new favorite spot when I'm passing through.

I do not understand the appeal of this place. I find their sides rather bland and their refried beans seem pedestrian, as if straight out of a Sysco can. I went reluctantly with family recently and the food managed to fall short of my low expectations. I ordered Chile Colorado, a dish I have eaten many times at other restaurants. It was so spicy hot that it was inedible (for context, I enjoy eating whole pickled jalapeños with carrot and onion). I ate two bites of a $16 lunch and set the plate aside, not interested in something else. Bakersfield has many excellent Mexican restaurants and I just don’t understand why this place is popular. I have no interest in eating there again as it is overpriced and I haven’t had good experiences the few times I have been.
